What Selling Your Home Means for Sellers in the Tri-Valley
Selling your home is one of the biggest financial moves you'll make, and most sellers only do it a handful of times. So the first question is almost always the same: "So how would you sell my home?" The second follows close behind: "What makes you different from other agents?"
At Cornerstone Real Estate Team, the answer to both is the same. Most homes are listed. Ours are launched. Every home we sell in the Tri-Valley goes through one plan, run in the same order. We call it the Model-Home Launch System.
A typical listing means an MLS entry, a sign in the yard and a wait. Our launch starts with a price you understand and a home prepared like a builder's model. Then paid advertising reaches buyers who aren't searching yet, and every buyer's agent gets a personal call before they show your home.
You'll see the plan before you agree to anything. We walk through the price, the prep your home needs and the launch timeline in one conversation, and you decide from there. If you're not ready to sell yet, that conversation is still useful, because knowing the plan early makes every later decision easier.

How Cornerstone Sells Your Home
Jameel Batshon and Ramez Bahu have sold homes across the Tri-Valley for more than 20 years, with nearly 2,000 transactions and more than $1.5 billion in team sales. They still do the work themselves, and that's the point. The partner who priced your home is the same person talking to buyers' agents about it.
The launch starts with price. We sit down with you and walk through recent sales and comparable homes, one at a time, so you can explain your own price to a neighbor. Then comes preparation, with professional cleaning and paint, landscaping and professional staging. Cornerstone covers that cost in most cases, with the terms agreed before any work starts.
While the home is being prepared, coming-soon advertising and a postcard to about 200 neighbors start building interest. Once it's ready, we bring in professional photos and a property video, plus drone photos and a 3D tour. Then paid ads on Facebook and Instagram easily reach more than 100,000 people in a month or less.
Sellers notice the difference. Julie Dawson wrote: "This is the second home we have sold using Jameel and Ramez. Once again, we were very impressed by their professionalism and the ease in the transaction. They had our house beautifully staged and photographed, which we believe contributed greatly to a full priced sell."

Our Process: What You Get
- A price walked through with you, built from recent sales, not an automated estimate.
- Model-home prep, with cleaning, paint, landscaping and staging managed for you and covered by us in most cases.
- A coming-soon period with social media advertising and a postcard to about 200 neighbors.
- Full media, including professional photos, a property video, drone photos and a 3D tour.
- Paid reach on Facebook and Instagram, plus YouTube, TikTok, Facebook groups, Nextdoor, Pinterest and our fellow Realtors.
- A for-sale postcard to the same neighbors, with a QR code to your home's website and a personal follow-up when someone scans it.
- A personal call from Jameel to every buyer's agent before their client tours your home.
Each part is explained on our page about how our advertising reaches more than 100,000 people. If price is your first question, start with finding out what your home is worth.
Selling Your Home Across the Areas We Serve
The launch runs the same way in every city. What changes is the buyer pool, the comparable sales and the price conversation.
Most sellers we talk to are selling for a reason bigger than the house. Some are trading up, and some are moving on after decades in one place. The launch works the same way for both, and the plan around it is built for your timing.
- Selling your home in Dublin: our office is in Dublin, and the Model-Home Launch System has run on a lot of homes here.
- Selling your home in Pleasanton: we'll walk you through recent Pleasanton sales that compare to yours, one at a time.
- Selling your home in Danville: we'll show you how the prep and the launch apply to your specific home.
- Selling your home in Livermore: the neighbor postcards and paid ads start working while your home is still being prepared.
Thinking about selling? Tell us about your home and we'll walk you through what a launch would look like for yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Model-Home Launch System?
It's the plan we run on every home we sell. We walk you through recent sales to set the price, prepare the home like a builder's model, build interest with coming-soon advertising, then launch with professional media and paid ads. Jameel also speaks with every buyer's agent before they show your home.
Do I have to pay for staging and prep?
In most cases, no. Cornerstone covers the cost of professional cleaning, paint, landscaping and staging in most situations. We agree on what's included before any work starts. If a seller decides to take the home off the market, they pay those prep costs back to us.
How long does it take to get my home ready to sell?
It depends on what the home needs. Some homes need a deep clean and staging, and others need paint and landscaping too. We agree on the work up front and manage the vendors for you. Meanwhile, coming-soon advertising and neighbor postcards are already building interest.
